I've formulated a list of teacher blogs I love. In no certain order:

1. Schroeder Shenanigans
This is the blog of a 2nd grade teacher who also creates original lessons and activities and sells them on teachers pay teachers.

2. Primarily Speaking
Another second grade teacher, this blogger always has relevant crafts, lessons and freebies depending on the season or time of the school year. Several of her unit studies incorporate a variety of children's literature, which is a great connection to literacy and student engagement. I began following her on Pinterest, which I also recommend for all teachers!

3. First Grade Blue Skies
Though her blog title is 1st grade, this teacher just recently moved to kindergarten. She creates adorable directed drawings for each letter of the alphabet and for different holidays / seasonal events. Additionally, I've incorporated many of her crafts into lessons in my own classroom and I always receive many compliments. One of my most treasured files this year is from this teacher, and it's the Letters A-Z crafts. Given that I teach the alphabet to my students, these crafts are a great way to expose students to the different letters and their sounds through art.

4. KinderCraze
Another kindergarten teacher blog I find myself checking regularly because I love her blog posts, classroom updates and crafts. My personal favorite are her mosaic window crafts. I've used her templates for each month so far this school year and it not only brightens up my classroom, but it also is very festive and relative to the season/holiday.

5. Schoolgirl Style
Though I said this was in no order, I may have saved the best for last. This teacher is truly one of the most remarkable professionals I've seen in the teaching profession. She designs, creates and sells classroom decor in addition to teaching Kindergarten. Talk about Wonder Woman! Her designs and classrooms vary in theme, but the style is fresh, colorful and so inviting - just as classrooms should be. This year, I used her Monster theme in my own classroom. Everything a first year teacher could possibly need for classroom decor was in her Theme Collection. It saved me so much time and money by having it all in one place. I've used other themes she has designed to decorate around our school to freshen up our environment, and other colleagues are always very complimentary of the look and designs. I contacted her / her business earlier this year and she personally responded to me and provided me with the exact resources I was looking for. I don't know how she balances everything she takes on, but I'm certainly glad she does! She has an incredible talent.
